My cousin, Hope, was my guinea pig for years on my journey through portrait photography. When she and her fiance, Jason, asked me to photograph their engagement session, I couldn't say no. They are two of our closest friends, and they make a beautiful couple. Enjoy your sneak peek, guys!

Little H

It looks like Little H's mommy may have a future model on her hands. It was such a pleasure to photograph this beautiful little girl. Mr. Burkey tagged along as prop boy and left with a new best friend. Little H's new friendship with my hubby had us laughing the entire session. Babies

Session Type: Cake Smash (2 Available)
Session Description: 1 hour session to celebrate your little one's first birthday. Clients are required to supply a small cake for the session.
Model Requirements: Boy or girl approximately age 1

Children

Session Type: General (2 Available)
Session Description: 1-2 hour session at the location of your choice.
Model Requirements: Girl age 4-8

Teens

Session Type: Sweet 16 (3 Available)
Session Description: 1-3 hour session at the location of your choice to celebrate your teen's Sweet 16. Unlimited wardrobe changes.
Model Requirements: Boy or Girl approximately age 16.

Baby T

This little one's daddy has been like my second baby brother for years now, so I was super excited to photograph his precious daughter. She wasn't a huge fan of my intrusive camera spoiling her view, but we still got a few sweet family shots. Congrats again, you two. I know you guys will be awesome parents.

Little K

I had the pleasure of spending some time with this bubbly little girl yesterday afternoon. It's so nice to see parents who so sincerely enjoy being with their little one, and how could you not enjoy this little sweetie? She was full of curiosity, laughter, and a certain fascination with my son's Bakugan. : ) Thanks mom and dad for a fantastic afternoon. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Spring has Sprung

I can hardly believe it's already time for spring again, but it is certainly a welcome change. My schedule is already filling up between the spring baseball season and Easter egg hunts. But this past weekend, we were able to fit in a quick spring photo session with our little man. I loved them so much, I thought I would post a few favorites. Baby J

When you are ten years old, running around the grade school playground, making friendship bracelets, and gossiping about boys, you never really think that you will grow up and grow old. I guess part of me is still that little girl on the playground, because watching my lifelong girflfriends, now beautiful grown women, start families of their own is so surreal to me.

I was recently given the opportunity to shoot the precious newborn daughter of one of my childhood friends. Lola, the couple's obviously ferocious chihuahua mix has adjusted well to the demands of being a big sister. She stood guard for most of the session and even slipped into a few shots herself while the baby was feeding.
